Several new products in the USB Capture and Pro Convert lines will be introduced.
Magewell, a developer of high-performance video I/O and IP workflow solutions, will showcase its latest innovations at NAB 2025 in Las Vegas from April 6-9. Visitors can experience live demonstrations of new additions to the USB Capture and Pro Convert product lines, along with Magewell’s full range of AV solutions.
The Modator family brings the reliability and low-latency performance of Magewell’s standalone encoders and decoders to a scalable, modular, rackmount enclosure. Designed for permanent installations requiring hot-swap functionality and redundant power, Modator sets a new standard for high-performance AV systems.
Among its modules, the Modator Ultra Encode SDI Plus offers 4Kp30 encoding, enabling multi-protocol streaming, file-based recording on built-in storage and advanced streaming capabilities.
The new USB Capture SDI 4K Pro provides plug-and-play SDI capture up to 4096×2160 resolution (including 3840×2160 Ultra HD) at 60fps with 4:2:2 chroma fidelity. Featuring onboard FPGA processing and utilising the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface, it ensures high-quality video capture with minimal CPU usage, making it suitable for streaming, live production and immersive presentations.
Making its debut at NAB, the Pro Convert IP to USB allows computers and laptops to capture NDI, NDI HX, or streaming sources through a USB interface, eliminating the need for external power. This plug-and-play device is perfect for conference rooms, production studios and environments where additional software installations are restricted.
Also premiering in North America, Director One integrates multi-input switching, graphics, streaming, recording and monitoring into a single device. Featuring a built-in 4G modem, dedicated 4G and WiFi antennas and a 7-inch, 800-nit AMOLED display, it ensures seamless connectivity for uninterrupted streaming and control.
