Maxon, the developers of professional software solutions for motion designers and visual effects artists, has released an update to VFX Suite, its suite of After Effects plugins for common visual effects tasks like chroma keying, camera tracking, blemish removal and precomposing.
This update incorporates improvements to several VFX Suite tools and adds Metal support for Shadow and Reflection. Spot Clone Tracker, King Pin Tracker and Lens Distortion Matcher are now fully optimised for Apple silicon. Bang has been optimised to calculate blur and glow effects on the GPU for improved performance. VFX 2.1 fixes various bugs including those that affected Optical Glow falloff, Bang Null creation, Supercomp Match Background and more.
The update is available for all Red Giant Complete and Maxon One subscribers through the Maxon App.
