Nikon Middle East has announced the launch of the new mirrorless camera Nikon Z 8 in the region.
Combining the performance of the flagship Nikon Z 9 with a compact and portable body, the Z 8 allows users to capture videos or stills with extra stability and comfort. Lightweight and featuring a deep grip design, it enables users to climb up, lay low, or go the distance to follow through the actions with minimal fatigue.
One of the standout features of the Nikon Z 8 is its ability to record videos in 8K UHD at 30P resolution, ensuring a level of detail and clarity. With up to 125 minutes of continuous video recording, filmmakers can capture every crucial moment without interruption.
The Nikon Z 8 boasts a cutting-edge 45.7-megapixel stacked sensor, allowing for better image quality and dynamic range. The camera’s 9 types of subject AF detection, including the smallest face detection, ensure precise and accurate autofocus, enabling photographers to effortlessly capture their subjects with clarity.
The Nikon Z 8 offers 12-bit ProRes Raw in-camera recording, empowering filmmakers with flexibility and post-processing options.

The excitement continued to build with a gala evening, where NikonMEA brought together the industry’s most trusted collaborators for a panel discussion. Experienced photographers and filmmakers, Alaa Albagdadhi, Shadi Al Refai, and Majed Sultan, joined forces with the Nikon team to share their expertise and insights. The panel delved into a range of topics, including the features of the Nikon Z 8, their personal experiences with the camera, and the future of visual storytelling.
During the panel discussion, Alaa Albagdadhi, renowned for her portrait photography, emphasized the Z 8’s ability to capture every intricate detail of nature’s beauty, enabling photographers to express their vision authentically.
