PRIMA has been designed from the ground up to address the needs of modern media and broadcast organisations.
Pebble, a prominent player in broadcast and media technology, has announced the launch of its newest innovation, PRIMA, set to debut at NAB Show 2024, slated from April 14 to 17, 2024.
PRIMA, the Platform for Real-time Integrated Media Applications, is engineered to offer a cohesive suite of services focusing on flexible deployment, enhanced security, economic scalability, and centralised management. Crafted from the ground up, PRIMA harnesses cutting-edge technologies to cater to the evolving needs of Pebble’s expanding customer base.
The initial product lineup for PRIMA builds upon Pebble’s core expertise in channel origination, comprising applications spanning playout, workflow, and control. Media and broadcast entities adopting PRIMA solutions stand to gain from Pebble’s extensive experience in playout, channel origination, and file-based workflow management, with PRIMA seamlessly integrating Pebble’s leading NMOS-based IP stream configuration and management for future-proof workflows.
Peter Mayhead, CEO of Pebble, said: “PRIMA is an exciting addition to Pebble’s range of solutions that significantly expands our addressable market and importantly addresses key requirements that our customers are looking for from modern software applications, such as security, cost efficiency, and flexible scalability. We are delighted with the initial response to it that we’ve had from customers.”
PRIMA is introduced alongside Pebble’s established portfolio of market-leading playout solutions, designed to integrate seamlessly while also augmenting existing capabilities. By broadening the spectrum of customer applications, PRIMA opens up new avenues for Pebble, allowing the company to further enhance its position in the broadcast and media ecosystem by catering to evolving market demands.
