The team from Polecam HQ at Bedford in the UK are offering visitors to their stand at CABSAT the chance to check out the Polecam Starter Pack the first time it will appear at a show in the Middle East.
Polecam will be at the show with its new Middle East partner Argosy, an international supplier of HD broadcast cables and studio infrastructure products in the Middle East. Argosy will be stocking the Starter Pack (PSP) in the region.
The Starter Pack is a simple camera crane specifically designed for DSLR users who want to take their footage to new levels by adding sweeping crane shots to their mix a growing market in the Middle East.
The PSP weighs just 15kg and comes in a specially-designed foam insert designed to drop straight into a Pelicase (model 1770) is compatible with the latest DSLR and lightweight video cameras.
Polecams managing director, Steffan Hewitt, said: Whether youre shooting a high-end wedding or filming Frozen Planet* (Polecam cranes were used as part of the kit the BBC took with it to the Arctic to film the recent BBC1 hit series Frozen Planet), a corporate film about fork-lift trucks or winter sports, the starter pack will give you professional quality footage at an affordable price.
He added: Teaming up with Argosy is a great opportunity for us to move into a growing market in the Middle East where they have expertise and local knowledge.
Were already receiving a consistent stream of orders from the Middle East market and we hope that visitors to CABSAT will be impressed by the Starter Pack when they visit our stand at the show.
