Qibb's AI-powered assistant offers ongoing support and guidance for smarter, faster and more intuitive workflow development.
Qibb has announced the launch of qibb’s AI Copilot, the first AI-powered conversational assistant designed to support media workflows from design to deployment. Making its debut at NAB Show 2025, this innovation simplifies the traditionally complex process of building, optimising, documenting and troubleshooting workflows, delivering a seamless AI-driven experience.
Jonas Michaelis, CEO at qibb, said: “AI is reshaping the way media technology teams operate, and qibb’s AI Copilot is at the forefront of this transformation. By adding an intelligent, conversational assistant directly to our platform, we are empowering both seasoned engineers and non-technical users to develop, refine, and oversee media workflows like never before.”
Qibb’s AI Copilot provides crucial support, offering real-time guidance for smarter, faster and more intuitive workflow development. This allows teams to quickly respond to changing requirements and evolving technology stacks, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Fully integrated into the qibb platform, AI Copilot enables users to build workflows using natural language prompts. The assistant generates optimised workflows, selects the best integration points and even writes function code where needed. Users can also refine and optimise automation logic, ensuring robust error handling and secure coding. AI Copilot streamlines documentation generation by creating architecture diagrams, step-by-step process visualisations, and plain-language explanations, improving collaboration. Additionally, it assists in troubleshooting and debugging, offering AI-driven recommendations to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Roman Holzhause, CTO at qibb, added: “AI is making media workflow automation accessible to everyone—from developers to operations teams. Our AI Copilot not only accelerates development with ongoing end-to-end support but also enhances workflow reliability by identifying inefficiencies and providing AI-driven recommendations to optimize scalability and security.”
Built on Node-Red, qibb’s Workflow Engine leverages an open, low-code ecosystem, benefiting from publicly available and continuously evolving data. Unlike proprietary automation engines, AI Copilot integrates with public large language models (LLMs) and open-source developments, ensuring continuous improvement. Unlike generic AI tools, qibb’s AI Copilot is specifically designed for media automation, seamlessly integrating with over 100 media services such as iconik, Mimir, and OpenAI. Access to qibb-built template workflows allows users to automate the entire media production and delivery pipeline with ease.
By accelerating both initial workflow development and iterative refinement, AI-powered assistance enables media teams to complete tasks significantly faster. AI Copilot ensures that all workflow variables and data remain under user control, offering enterprise-grade security. qibb also hosts AI models on dedicated infrastructure in compliance with GDPR regulations, safeguarding client data.
qibb’s AI Copilot will be showcased live at NAB Show 2025 at Qvest’s booth and the Fonn Group booth SL6826, where attendees can experience firsthand how AI-driven workflow automation is transforming the media industry.
