Riedels new Artist CCP-1116 commentary control panels are on show at NAB.
The Riedel Artist CCP-1116 is the next generation premium commentary control panel with integrated intercom functionality. The unit provides two commentary positions including two broadcast quality microphone preamps as well as all the intercom functionality known from the renowned 1000 series intercom panels.
Built in a compact housing and connected via a single CAT5 or COAX connection, the CCP-1116 offers fast and easy installation. A stand-alone/emergency mode as well as a redundant power supply solution provides maximum reliability.
The CCP-1116 features a high-quality microphone preamp, +6dBu Limiter and a level meter per commentator. Large “On Air” and “Mic Mute” keys with LED indicators make operation fast and easy – even under difficult lighting conditions. An additional mono line-input offers connection for external. The monitor mix section features 3 source level controls, side-tone and master level. All sources are routable for optional split-ear operation with commentary headphones.
The intercom section features 16 freely assignable control keys with individual level control. To allow for two users the control panel keys can be split into two groups with any combination of keys. Following Riedels intuitive concept of integrated displays in the panel keys, the 1100 series features the next generation of high-res color OLEDs. With 65,000 colors and a resolution of 140 dpi these new displays provide excellent readability and are able to show up to eight highly detailed characters of up to 24×24 pixels, ideal for displaying icons and Asian characters. Definable marker colors for the keys complete the labeling options and provide instant function identification and signalization, e.g. for incoming calls.
