The company to showcase next-generation StageLink Edge Devices, new Smart Audio and Mixing Engine, Virtual SmartPanel and much more.
At the NAB Show 2025, Riedel Communications is set to showcase its latest advancements in audio, networking and control technology. The company will introduce its next-generation StageLink Edge services, Smart Audio and Mixing Engine (SAME) and the Virtual SmartPanel, all designed to enhance flexibility and efficiency in live production and broadcast environments. Additionally, Riedel will unveil several new products on the first day of the show, further expanding its intercom and live video production lineup.
With a focus on seamless integration and intelligent workflow management, Riedel’s new solutions aim to improve connectivity, optimise audio performance and redefine user interaction. Attendees will gain insight into how these innovations provide greater versatility, scalability and ease of use for professionals in media, sports and entertainment.
A major highlight at the event will be Riedel’s private 5G network solution, Easy5G, designed to transform connectivity for media and event productions. The company will also demonstrate its RefCam referee camera system, which delivers immersive real-time perspectives from the referee’s point of view.
Joyce Bente, President and CEO Americas, Riedel Communications, said: “We’ve got some exciting new products to share at NAB this year, and we can’t wait to show how they’re pushing the boundaries of flexible, reliable, and rock-solid communications for broadcast and production industries. Stop by our stand and see for yourself how these solutions can elevate productions of any scale.”
One of the standout technologies at NAB 2025 will be the StageLink family of smart edge devices. These compact, rugged I/O boxes facilitate seamless network streaming, simplifying IP-based audio and intercom workflows. Designed for live production, broadcast and studio settings, StageLink devices enable decentralised signal distribution over standard IP networks, reducing the complexity of traditional cabling and infrastructure.
The StageLink series allows media professionals to capture and distribute signals with ease, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective transition to IP-based workflows. By utilising standard network cables, these devices create a flexible and scalable system that seamlessly integrates microphones, intercoms, GPIO devices and other audio-enabled equipment.
For the first time, Riedel will also present its Smart Audio and Mixing Engine (SAME), an audio processing software suite designed to redefine broadcast audio workflows. SAME leverages commercial off-the-shelf server cluster technology to deliver high-performance processing that scales effortlessly with production demands.
Offering more than 30 advanced audio processing tools and mixers, including automatic leveling, dynamic equalisation, 5.1 upmixing, loudness meters and signal analysers, SAME supports a range of applications such as voice-over, automated mixing, and audio monitoring. In combination with the universal inputs of Riedel’s new StageLink edge devices, users will enjoy a fully automated signal path from mic to ear.
Additionally, Riedel will introduce its Virtual SmartPanel (VSP), a cutting-edge software solution that enables remote intercom connectivity via mobile devices. Designed for seamless integration with the Artist-1024 platform, VSP allows users to access intercom systems through iPhones, Android devices and web browsers, ensuring secure and flexible communication across various production environments.
By expanding its SmartPanel concept into a virtual, platform-independent solution, Riedel is setting a new standard for mobility and operational efficiency in intercom systems. The VSP provides a scalable, secure, and highly adaptable communication solution that enhances remote production capabilities.
