At CABSAT 2017, Snell Advanced Media (SAM) is highlighting its range of products which showcase the brand’s game-changing IP and 4K live sports production and replay workflows, as well as the market’s most complete, flexible and cost effective IP Routing System, the next-generation of MultiViewers and its industry-renowned playout solutions.

SAM’s LiveTouch system offers the most efficient sports highlights and replay workflow on the market today. Following LiveTouch’s incredibly successful launch at IBC 2016, SAM is looking forward to showing customers in the Middle East the huge potential the solution can bring to all manner of live sports production workflows. LiveTouch offers a uniquely transparent editing and replay workflow enabling instant collaboration between replay and production.

SAM will also be demonstrating its Kula multi-format production switcher at the show. Available as 1, 2 & 3 M/E’s and 1 M/E 4K versions, Kula can handle multiple formats making it both future-proof and adaptable for today’s production environment. The 2M/E HD/SD version can be switched to 1M/E 4K mode, allowing users to benefit from higher production values. With a wide range of control panels including the new 24 crosspoint panel, operators can access up to 42 inputs SAM’s Kahuna remains the flagship medium to large production switcher in the market. Kahuna’s class-leading technology raises the bar for multi-format operations, supporting any combination of SD, HD, 1080p (level A & B) and 4K, eliminating the need for external conversion. Kahuna can also be configured to operate in a distributed architecture allowing customers to allocate resources dynamically throughout different studios, different remote OB’s and even different buildings.

The system is the first in the industry to support multiple signal types including SMPTE 2022-6 and SMPTE 2022-7; VSF TR-03 and 04.
