With IP production workflows becoming increasingly complex, Sencore is enhancing its toolset to support remote, distributed and hybrid production environments.
Sencore will showcase its latest advancements in IP streaming, production and commercial video distribution at NAB 2025. As broadcasters and AV professionals increasingly transition to IP-based and hybrid workflows, Sencore continues to develop solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability and adaptability.
At the core of its offering is the Centra platform, which integrates orchestration, management and content scheduling. The Centra Gateway facilitates seamless reception, transmission and conversion of various internet protocols—including RIST, SRT, Zixi, HLS and MPEG over IP—allowing broadcasters to optimise video distribution over public and private networks. By leveraging SRT as a cost-effective alternative to satellite and fiber-based delivery, Sencore enables secure, low-latency transmission of live and on-demand content while simplifying deployment and reducing infrastructure costs.
Sencore is also unveiling a comprehensive OTT workflow package, designed to support on-premises, cloud-based or fully managed streaming solutions. This modular system integrates transcoding, packaging and caching functionality, providing a scalable architecture that optimises cost while maintaining high-quality video delivery.
For IP production, Sencore has enhanced its VB440 solution, offering real-time monitoring and control features accessible via a web browser. Recent upgrades include advanced speaker management tools, expanded support for the IPMX standard to ensure AV and broadcast interoperability and API improvements that enhance automation and system integration. These innovations support remote, distributed and hybrid production environments, delivering the flexibility needed for live events, collaborative workflows, and large-scale broadcasts.
In commercial video distribution, Sencore continues to refine its Omnihub platform, which offers a modular solution for RF and IP reception, transcoding, encryption and modulation. Designed for hospitality, corporate AV and multi-dwelling units (MDUs), Omnihub facilitates seamless content redistribution, scalable transcoding and enhanced content security. New dedicated solution packages simplify integration, enabling businesses to deploy high-performance video networks tailored to their operational needs.
Speaking ahead of NAB 2025, Chad Hassler, VP of Broadcast at Sencore, commented: “The future of media and AV undeniably lies in IP, and Sencore is proud to be at the forefront of that transition. But IP is not one-size-fits-all, and not every broadcaster or AV professional operates in a fully IP-native environment yet. The reality is that organisations of all sizes—whether in broadcast, corporate AV, hospitality, or beyond—need solutions that support hybrid and transitional workflows. At NAB 2025, visitors will see firsthand how Sencore delivers not just the tools for the future, but also the flexibility and expertise to bridge the gap between traditional and next-generation video delivery.”
