Visitors will get a hands-on demonstration of SipVault at the event.
SipRadius, exhibiting alongside MistServer, will introduce SipVault, an intercom solution designed to elevate broadcast team collaboration, at IBC 2024 from September 13 to 16.
Alongside their live media transport and transcoding solutions, SipRadius will demonstrate SipVault, an all-in-one secure intercom and messaging system that simplifies real-time IP remote and multi-team broadcast productions by eliminating the need for separate communication channels.
SipVault integrates secure channels into IP media streams, ensuring real-time communications for production team members regardless of location. AES-256 encryption prevents eavesdropping, even over internet connections.
Recognising the widespread use of chat channels in broadcast facilities, SipRadius has incorporated a secure and managed chat function into SipVault. This allows production and engineering teams to share information securely, with configurable user rights to prevent unauthorised deletion or downloading of sensitive messages. Managers can retain copies for audits or reviews.
Sergio Ammirata, PhD founder and chief scientist at SipRadius, said: “As well as providing a secure and reliable intercom, SipVault delivers secure chat messaging alongside the streamed media to and from the remote location or between broadcast facilities, right out of the box. This provides a seamless user experience for broadcast teams that specifically meets their needs instead of having to rely on generic third-party and sub-optimal office-type software.
“Adding highly secure, real-time, and ultra-low latency communications to the SipRadius portfolio of live media transport and transcoding solutions takes intercom to the next level and delivers an easy-to-use and seamless user experience for production and engineering teams collaborating remotely across multiple broadcast sites.”
Attendees at IBC 2024 can experience real-time, hands-on demonstrations of SipVault and explore SipRadius’s range of ultra-low latency, highly secure encoding, transport, delivery and visualisation platforms.
