Vislink will also be discussing its portfolio of AI-automated systems, drone-ready transmitters , and hybrid bonded cellular-COFDM airborne downlink solutions.
At this year’s CABSAT event, Vislink will be showcasing its latest innovations for simplifying and streamlining REMI and cloud-based production, with a special focus on live sports, airborne downlink systems and compact transmission solutions designed for helmet-based and other body-worn applications.
Among the key product offerings on display will be Cliq miniature wireless transmitter, 5G camera-back and backpack bonded cellular encoders, and the new 5G-Link, which enables, for the first time, seamless bi-directional data communication between free-roaming wireless cameras and production centres.
Capable of a full 4K or transmission of two HD video services, the Cliq OFDM Mobile Transmitter provides broadcasters with an uncontended wireless video network connection to obtain immersive camera views with complete freedom to roam.
With its HEVC capability, the Cliq OFDM Mobile Transmitter provides operators with the flexibility to deliver more camera views in their allocated bandwidth or wirelessly capture content over twice the distance compared to older MPEG-4 devices.
Vislink will exhibit its new 5G-Link, which enables seamless bi-directional data communication between free-roaming wireless cameras and production centres.
The Vislink 5G-Link delivers wireless freedom to roam over an uncontended 5G private network, providing high-quality low latency video and bi-direction IP control to the very edge of the broadcast network. It transmits ultra-low latency, high-quality video over a private 5G network, delivering uncontended connectivity that can interface directly into cloud and remote production workflows. By utilising a private 5G network, connectivity is kept separate from public cellular networks and is free from the risk of network contention issues that can occur at crowded large-scale events when personal cellular device usage spikes.
Vislink will also be discussing its portfolio of AI-automated systems for indoor and outdoor sporting and news events, drone-ready transmitters for live event broadcasts, and hybrid bonded cellular-COFDM airborne downlink solutions.
In addition, Vislink will demonstrate how its LinkMatrix cloud control platform allows the entire production workflow to be centralised and managed from any location for greater operational efficiencies and optimal deployment of staff resources.
