Vocas Systems is set to showcase new products at IBC 2011. Here is a glimpse of what to expect:
The flexible gear ring. The flexible gear ring can be attached a camera lens and allows a user to operate the lens with a follow focus. The new rings will be cheaper than the rings currently available and will offer the same quality.
Pro rail support. A new pro rail support will also be showcased. Using the support, 15 mm rods can be mounted under various types of cameras such as the Sony NEX-FS100.
Different accessories can be attached to the camera setup by placing the support underneath. One of the possible accessories is the new E to PL-mount adapter which allows the use of PL-mount lenses on an E-mount equipped body, for example the Sony NEX-FS100.
Shoulder support. Vocas’ new camera shoulder support distributes the weight of the camera for less stress on the body of the camera operator. It works with commonly used 15mm rails, and can be fitted on an existing setup. The support can be quickly attached or removed anywhere at the rails without the disassembling the system.
