VSNs Media Management solution, VSNEXPLORER is now integrated with Microsoft Azure Media Services, creating an enhanced MAM on cloud solution that addresses the most demanding media needs of companies operating in the industry. This integration has seen its worldwide presentation at the recent NAB Show 2016 in Las Vegas, with great success of attendance and media coverage.
VSN has chosen Azure as its preferred cloud platform. Thanks to this integration, VSNs users can now access an enhanced Video on Demand (VoD) or live streaming platform without bandwidth constraints, incorporating MPEG-DASH support, multi-device and DRM management, protection and encryption provided by AES, PlayReady, Widevine and fairPlay. This integration also enables advanced automatic cataloguing features, that take media management to the next level of efficiency.
We strive to keep our solutions at the avant-garde of the industry, and that is why we chosen Microsoft Azure to further develop the cloud capabilities of VSNEXPLORER and our media management portfolio, said Aaron López, VSNs Chief Operations Officer (COO).
We are sure that this integration is going to revolutionise the way users work in the industry, since we believe that collaborative work is the future of efficiency and productivity for the broadcast and M&E industries.
