ZOOdubs encapsulates the entire dubbing process from script localisation and adaptation to casting, auditioning, recording, editing and mixing. The product systematises the dubbing process, centralising control, reducing errors and making it simpler to manage the end-to-end workflow. Content owners now have greater visibility of the dubbing process; they are able to track projects as they move through the process milestones, reviewing and approving materials, and join in live dubbing sessions from anywhere in the world, at anytime.
ZOOdubs voice artists record auditions live in the cloud, with casting directors able to search, review and cast on the move using an iPad. Live video direction of dubbing sessions and real-time collaborative script review is all carried out within ZOOdubs, with voice artists and dubbing directors able to work together anytime, anywhere.
Stringent cloud-based security protocols ensure that all video, audio and dubbing reference materials are stored securely yet conveniently accessible to authorised collaborators in the cloud.
Gordon Doran, President at ZOO Digital, explained: ZOOdubs delivers a huge step forward for dubbing services. It addresses head on the key challenges faced by content owners, and aims to shake up an industry, which has been crying out for a service provider to do dubbing differently.
With ZOOdubs, the process is no longer a black hole but now an end-to-end workflow with complete visibility every step of the way.
