The festival will screen two short films by Emirati director Hussain Alansari, as well as a feature on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre.
This open call targets all emerging filmmakers and directors, whether working individually or in groups.
In the documentary category, the coveted first place went to 'Gaza Fish,' while the award for the animation category was claimed by 'Flower.'
Through this event, the authority aims to open new horizons for filmmakers, providing a platform to showcase their works and diverse stories to the audience.
The deadline for submitting original short films is October 1, 2023.
