Netflix has posted a strong 2019 driven by its Q4 performance and high sales in EMEA last year.
Streaming platforms led the awards with 30 nominations total among Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV Plus.
The new deal will see Plepler produce original TV shows, movies, and documentaries exclusively for Apple TV Plus through his company, Eden Productions.
It is estimated that Netflix will have lost 1.6m total subscribers during Q4 of 2019, a period during which both Disney Plus and Apple TV Plus launched.
Despite the split, Kim Rozenfeld won't be completely separating from Apple but will now work with the technology giant through his company Half Full Productions.
