One of Riyadh’s growing attractions, the drive-in cinema is allowing visitors to enjoy a safe experience while maintaining social distancing.
Launched by Riyadh’s mayor, the drive-in cinema will be able to accommodate more than 150 cars.
The audience will be offered films spanning across multiple genres alongside food and drinks while adhering to social distancing policies.
The festival is scheduled to run from August 23 to 31 and will screen new films, all premiering in Jordan.
Tickets will be sold online and allow a maximum of four people in each car.
According to Azizi, the outdoor drive-in cinema will be able to accommodate over 25 cars in the premises.
Movies will be shown across the weekend, from Thursday through to Saturday, with all safety measures in place.
The cinema is located on the rooftop parking space of the mall's Zabeel extension.
Screenings at Movie Nights at Aljada will take place on a daily basis from 8 pm and will be free to enter on a first-come, first-served basis.
