Dubai Municipality and MBRSC will provide the Dubai Space Laboratory with the latest technologies and devices in accordance with international best practices and standards.
As part of the agreement, MBRSC will share data from the DMSat-1 satellite with the international space community.
The launch was supervised by a team of officials and engineers from MBRSC and Dubai Municipality.
Data collected from Dubai's first miniature environment-monitoring satellite will detect the source of air pollutants and concentration of dust and its impact on public health in the UAE.
