A film screening event over the weekend will honor the artistry of Arab short films and delve into the realms of creative and artistic expression through individual and collective histories.
The discussion will offer insights into varied aspects of filmmaking from October 10-15 at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, Sharjah.
Six films by Emirati female directors who graduated from the Arab Film Studio Narrative and Documentary programmes will be screened at Warehouse421.
On both days, the screening will be followed by a discussion with the directors.
The tickets are available for purchase on the website for $14.29.
The Cinema Al-Hara initiative will run until October 30 in Jeddah.
The deadline for participants to submit their work for the competition is December 31.

The platform has partnered with MUBI and Watch platform to draw films from their content bank every week which will be then discussed on a virtual meeting platform.
The festival opened with a screening of "Screwdriver" on August 25 followed by a discussion with the film Director Bassam Jarbawi.
