This year the festival honours Saudi actor Abdulmohsen Al-Nemer and Syrian director Mohammad Malas.
The exhibition's opening day will also feature a curatorial talk by Kessous and Rousseau entitled "Through the historical lens of Indian cinema."
The 23rd edition will be hosted once again at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
