Dubai and its iconic destinations including Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall appear in many scenes within the action-packed film.
The project was first announced at the Berlin International Film Festival's European Film Market earlier this month. The film will be shot in Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles.
Also featuring local talent, the film is being made in collaboration with Shanghai Lix Entertainment Co Ltd and Alkatraz FZ LLC, a Dubai-based production company.
