Red Sea International Film Festival announces dates for fifth edition

The company has planned to acquire and distribute Arabic and international content to cinemas and across traditional broadcast and streaming platforms within the MENA region.
Set to be completed in 2024, the 2Africa project will connect 33 countries, delivering reliable connectivity and internet services across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Labaki and Kapoor will also appear at the festival as part of the 'In Conversation' series on December 3 and 7, respectively.
The new cinema will feature nine screens and have 837 seats besides a variety of restaurants.
Following his departure, Sabbagh hopes to return as a director and producer to work on his third feature film.
The restored versions of “The Pilgrimage to Mecca” and “Glimpses of Jeddah” will premiere at the inaugural Red Sea International Film Festival, which will run from March 12-21, 2020.
The Saudi-based festival, will select a Cairo Film Connection project from the fiction projects to attend the inaugural Project Market of the Red Sea Souk from March 13-16, 2020.
The Golden Yusr Trophy for best feature carries a $100,000 cash prize and the Silver Yusr Trophy for best director is worth $50,000. There will also be an audience award carrying a cash prize of $50,000.
