According to the study, football, StarzPlay Originals, and top Turkish titles are amongst the most-watched shows in Saudi Arabia.
Since the release of Kaboos, StarzPlay has also witnessed a cross-border interest in the Arabic original.
Set in different eras and across countries in the MENA region, 'Kaboos' is a modern-day retelling of Arab folklore.
Screening of the first two episodes of 'Kaboos' at Alkersal Avenue featured a roster of established and up-and-coming Arabic stars.
The series will feature five standalone episodes inspired by Arab folklore from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait and Egypt.
