The docudrama, set in Lebanon, uses the format of diaries to narrate four tumultuous years in a nation struggling to break free from its own chains.
'Diaries From Lebanon' is a joint production between Lebanon, France, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Labaki is the first female Arab director to be nominated for an Oscar in the category for Best Foreign Language Film for 'Capernaum' (2018).
Additionally, the film will screen at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival before looking for a MENA premiere later this year.
