The academy will deliver remote lectures between May 9 and June 2, 2022, moving on to in-person sessions at MBRSGs facilities until June 29, 2022.
During the six-month training period, the creators of the programme grew their followers by 693%, totalling 2.5m followers.
The campus is built in collaboration with Engage and is the first step in the academy’s quest to design a learning experience featuring immersive technologies.
The programme has been designed to shape digital professionals capable of taking on the major shifts occurring in the working world.
The partnership kicked off with the region’s first virtual workshop for government departments on effectively creating and disseminating content on social media.
The programme features five identical cohorts, two in Arabic and three in English, and is open to youth.
The launch of the academy coincides with the UAE’s post-Covid-19 strategies to build a generation of new media experts who lead the new digital economy.
