The integrated terminals will operate over Viasat's Ka-band networks, as well as the current and future Global Xpress (GX) satellites.
The multi-purpose terminal delivers up to 126 Mbps forward link and up to 29 Mbps return link, maintaining connectivity during all flight phases.
The deal sees the addition of Orbits Multi-Purpose Terminals (MPT) and OceanTRx hardware to COMSAT portfolio.
