The anthology showcases 22 stories by Gaza-based filmmakers, created under the challenging conditions of ongoing bombings, with filmmakers risking their lives to bring these narratives to the screen.
The film is produced by Amjad Abu Alala’s Station Films and co-produced by Ali Alarabi, CEO and founder of Ambient Light.
The IIFMA noted that the chosen film did not adequately represent the creative output of Iranian filmmakers this year, many of whom operate discreetly or are in exile.
