Youssef gained recognition with his Hulu series 'Ramy', which earned him a Golden Globe and two Emmy nominations in 2020 for both acting and directing.
The comedy special will be directed and executively produce by Christopher Storer, who worked with Youssef on the FX/Hulu series 'The Bear'.
The upcoming series will bring Mo Najjar’s journey for asylum to a conclusion.
'Mo' is a semi-autobiographical series inspired by Amer's life as a Palestinian refugee growing up in Houston.

A panel discussion dedicated to Hulu Original Comedy will take place on April 11 with Ramy Youssef, Billy Rosenberg and many others.
Film nominees will be revealed on February 8, while the winners will be announced on March 7.
The series is written, produced, and created by Egyptian-American actor Ramy Youssef who won the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
