Gaurav Banerjee will succeed NP Singh, who will move into the role of Non-Executive Chairman after a 25-year tenure.
Ahuja will also continue to oversee the company’s TV business in his elevated role.
Pope will begin her new role on August 22, reporting to Ravi Ahuja, chairman of Global Television Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment Corporate Development.
Ahuja was previously President of Business Operations and CFO at Walt Disney Television and CFO of Fox Networks Group.
