Iridiums commercial business ended the quarter with 2,341,000 billable subscribers, marking a growth of 12% year-over-year.
Satelles service, now referred to as Iridium STL, secures GPS and other GNSS-reliant systems from spoofing and jamming, using hardware that doesnt require outdoor antennas.
STL will be established as a new division within Iridium, with Dr Michael O'Connor, CEO of Satelles, at the helm.
For this contract, Iridium partners Satelles and SEAKR will bring their expertise as subcontractors to assist with the project.
