The new satellite is scheduled to reach the orbit in November, one month after its launch.
From 2020 to 2029, the smallsat market value is projected to reach $51bn, of which $33bn for manufacturing and $18bn for launch.
The simplicity of smallsats, the associated low-cost architecture and rideshare programmes have allowed the satellite players easier access to space which impacts the commercial industry.
