With this flight, Qatar Airways has achieved several industry-firsts, including first Starlink equipped passenger aircraft in MENA and first Starlink ST Certificate for a Boeing aircraft.
The action follows Starlinks unilateral decision to raise its subscription fees in Nigeria without obtaining the necessary regulatory approval, said the NCC.
The approval of the application follows the policy approval of the Satellite Licensing Framework in Ghana by the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation.
