Rocket Lab has been the sole launch provider for Synspectives StriX constellation, successfully deploying four StriX satellites across four dedicated Electron launches since 2020.
Synspective built the satellite as part of establishing its production system to produce several satellites concurrently.
Rocket Lab is now scheduled to launch three missions for Synspective beginning in late 2023 from Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand.
The single StriX-1 satellite manifested on the Electron launch will bring Rocket Labs tally of satellites delivered to orbit to 150.
SAR satellites will be developed, manufactured, and launched by Synspective using the new capital.
The StriX-? satellite onboard this mission will be the first of a series of spacecraft deployments for Synspectives planned constellation of more than 30 SAR small satellites.
The mission will launch the first satellite of Synspectives StriX constellation which will provide commercially available Earth-observation data.
