The collaboration aims to integrate the Telesat Lightspeed LEO network with Arabsats multi-orbit offering in the MENA region.
Under the agreement, Aalyria’s Spacetime networking technology will organise the flow of data traffic in the broadband constellation for more than 10 years.
Telesat selected Thales Alenia Space to be the prime manufacturer of its global LEO constellation Lightspeed.
Intellian has previously worked with Telesat, using Telesat's demonstration satellite and V85NX maritime antenna that has been adapted for land use.
As part of the collaboration, Telesat Lightspeed will be integrated with Liquid's global value-added services network.
Under this agreement, Anuvu will acquire 10 Gigabits of Ka-band capacity, the largest acquisition in its Bridge to LEO strategy.
Telesats prime contractor, Thales Alenia Space, will establish the Lightspeed satellites' final assembly and manufacturing in Québec and is in discussions with Québec-based partners.
