In an initial focus on the MENA region, TPAY will allow StarzPlay to accept subscription payments directly from 9m viewers via Direct Carrier Billing.
In the beginning, the partnership will cover up to 105m Egyptian consumers, then expand to other MENA countries.
The move is part of Weyyak's ongoing expansion with TPay Mobile, its telecom aggregation partner and digital payment enabler.
