The film made history as the first Saudi feature ever to be screened in Cannes’ Official Selection.
The film was supported by the Red Sea Fund and shot entirely in AlUla, northwest Saudi Arabia, featuring an all-Saudi cast and a 40% Saudi crew.
The company will be based out of Riyadh and will operate alongside recently launched distribution company TwentyOne Entertainment, also overseen by Chesney.
The company has planned to acquire and distribute Arabic and international content to cinemas and across traditional broadcast and streaming platforms within the MENA region.
