Fortress Investment Group is the company’s largest holder of debt and if Vice enters Chapter 11 would likely control the business.
Dubuc’s exit comes as Vice Media has been actively trying to sell itself.
The new partnership will include Arabic-language lifestyle content created exclusively for the MBC Group.
The new regional headquarters will provide clients with a full range of production capabilities, including a podcast studio, editing suites and a sound stage.
Previously, Diwan worked in Dubai as a senior producer for international advertising agencies.
The new appointments follow some recent wins for Vice’s commercial arm in the region which include Durex and OSN+, amongst others.
Aquilina most recently served as head of partnerships at creative experience agency Lightblue.
The virtual building will serve as a permanent residence in Decentraland for multiple VMG businesses.
