The agreement comes in alignment with Vodafone Egypt’s aim to provide digital content to its customers.
The operators will receive half of the frequencies within the first three months, while the rest will be apportioned later within the year.
The cash offer is for Vodafones 55% stake in Vodafone Egypt, the remaining part of which is held by state-owned Telecom Egypt.
