In the documentary category, the coveted first place went to 'Gaza Fish,' while the award for the animation category was claimed by 'Flower.'
Director Mohamed Ben Attia will introduce both screenings and will be available for post-screening Q&A sessions, joined by producer Dora Bouchoucha and actors Majd Mastoura and Samer Bicharat.
Each of the eight films will be screened under the theme 'Companionship'.
This premiere came ahead of its commercial release on December 1 in the UAE in Vox cinemas in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates and Abu Dhabi’s YAS Mall.
Between June 15 to 22, Riyadh will welcome 14 films from different European countries.
